If you've ever wondered what having only girls is like...it goes a little something like this...
We had an uneventful weekend of "home improvement" projects and laundry. I use quotations because the improvement portion is a bit of a lie. It was more like correcting/fixing what we horribly destroyed.
My husband can be handy when he wants to be, and we're gradually learning how to DIY when it comes to the house. The problem occurs when you get he and I together on a project. My research + his fix-it skills typically equal disaster, you can ask our guest bath tub. This past weekend we weren't able to get any water pressure or hot water out of it. My husband's theory was that there was sediment clogging a pipe and off I went to google for a quick fix. Yahoo answers gave some instructions which I passed along to Kris, resulting in a tub that had water alright...spraying from both deconstructed faucets, forcing us to turn off the water to the entire house until we could fix what we had "fixed" thus far. We finally got the problem solved Saturday with a little help from my FIL and spent Sunday comfortably with running water and heat again.
The time change last night had everyone but me in bed before 8 pm, and unfortunately everyone but me and Klara sleeping in until 8 am. Time changes + babies do not mix. Klara and I spent the morning (from 5 am on) together spotting deer and doing dishes. Hopefully she adjusts soon. How do all handle the time change?
